About me:

A photo of my head.

I'm currently a postdoctoral researcher in Darren Roblyer's Biomedical Optical Technologies lab at Boston Unversity where my work is focused on developing and improving diffuse optical techniques to address current clinical needs in cancer imaging. I received my PhD in 2016 from the Omenetto Lab in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Tufts University. My thesis work involved studying the interaction of light with biocompatible materials, mainly silk fibroin.

My previous work as a research technician in the Suter Lab at Massachusetts General Hospital was critical in informing my current work. In 2009 I received my B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University where I focused on digital signal/image processing.
